Opening on Wednesday 12th June, the new store includes an in-store bakery, flower shop, wine shop and card & wrap shop. Shoppers will also find M&S’ signature cheese barge and click & collect facilities.

The market-style food hall will stock the M&S Remarksable value range, made up of over 100 everyday staples. And shoppers will find 250 new products M&S has launched for this summer, including loaded ice cream tubs, New York-inspired dips, British King strawberries, and M&S Collection pizzas.

Percy Pig was on hand to welcome customers through the doors on opening day, along with local sax player Nick Pike.

The store's opening hours will be 8am-8pm Monday to Saturday and between 10:30am and 4.30pm on Sundays.
